Pesto and Cheddar Swirl Kebabs

Have you been wondering what to have to have that’s filling and savoury for a refreshing change on your treat plate? What nibbles to have that are low calorie, last a while and are tasty and ‘picky’ then these Pesto and Cheddar Swirl Kebabs using a Lo-Dough wrap are just the job! The hint of pesto works well with the cheddar and if you add a dip of your choice then these will be filling and satisfying too! Eat both of them, you can! They are quick and easy to make and only take around 10-15 mins in the oven so ready quickly whilst the adverts are on!

To make these lovely Pesto and cheddar Swirl Kebabs you will need 2 skewers. I used wooden ones and didn’t bother soaking in water, they aren’t in the oven for long!

Pre heat oven to Gas 5, electric 190 fan 170

Ingredients

2 pieces of Lo-Dough

2 tbsp Low fat pesto

25gms cheddar cheese grated

A sprinkle of your choice of herbs, I used basil and paprika

Garlic Frylight

Butter Frylight

Method

Divide the pesto between both pieces of Lo-Dough

Spread to the edges

Roll into a ‘sausage’

Keeping hold of the ‘sausage’ so it doesn’t unroll carefully cut apx 3-4cms pieces one at a time and thread onto the skewer with the loose end threaded on first so it stays rolled. Repeat using one sausage per skewer.

Spray with garlic Frylight. Then spray all over with butter Frylight. Sprinkle the cheese evenly on top and pop in the oven for 10-15 mins until the cheese is golden.
