Pineapple and Dark Chocolate Melt Skinny Mug Cake

Trust me with this one. Pineapple and Dark Chocolate are a match made in heaven. This flavour takes me back to when I was a small child. My mum used to buy a Pineapple and Dark Chocolate flavour cake which was possibly made by Cadbury’s or McVities. As a family of four and it being a small wrapped cake we used to enjoy a quarter of this cake each and it was incredible. The company stopped making this flavour after some years but I sometimes reminisce about how good it really was. The cake was split with with a very fine layer of pineapple jam and covered with a thin layer of dark chocolate.

These Lo-Dough Mug Cakes are great for any time of day. I enjoy them for breakfast but they are fantastic as a dessert or for those times when you feel the uncontrollable urge to eat something filling and tasty! I love them. Enjoying a different one every morning is my idea of variety and starting the day with a satisfying smile! The benefits of using Lo-Dough instead of flour are fantastic.
