Lo-Dough Baked Egg Custard

Fancy a simple Slimming World friendly egg custard? . This is a recipe that I made some time ago but it’s proved quite popular I thought it was time I did a blog post!

The whole recipe is 4.5 syns plus 2 x hexa so a quarter of the Pie is 1/2 hexa plus 1.5 syns

Important! Please check your own syn values to protect your own weight loss


250ml semi skimmed milk

5 tbsp sweetener

3 large eggs

1 piece of Lo-Dough

Spray oil


Spray one piece of Lo-Dough with spray oil – preferably butter

Shape Lo-Dough into a 7 inch flan dish and bake in oven for 5-10 mins until firm. Do not allow to Brown

Whisk egg, milk and sweetener together thoroughly. Pour into Lo-Dough flan case . Sprinkle nutmeg

Bake in medium oven gas 5, electric 190, fan 170 covered loosely with foil until set – apx 30-40 mins
